Italian Hand Blown Glass Christmas Tree Topper or Finial. Very nicely glittered. De Carlini Angel. This description will apply to all/some/many of my Blown Glass Ornament listings. Please read. The pictures are of exactly what will ship. The descriptions are tags for listing purposes only. As are the titles. The color of the item may differ slightly based on the lighting and background at the time of the photos. The green wall tints the ornaments pinkish. Use the white background for the best results. Many of the ornaments are vintage. I believe the Italians are mostly De Carlini. I only know of Laved as another Italian figural ornament maker. Many of the ornament caps say Italy. Some do not. I’m pretty confident they are from Italy. As they don’t come with boxes or tags I can’t know for sure. I do have a history of De Carlini book which helps but it doesn’t have every ornament cataloged. Others Brands I will be listing are Radko, Old World Christmas, Laved, Breen , Shiny Brite, and even Hallmark Keepsake Glass Christmas Ornaments. The pictures are the condition. Wear and age are to be expected on older used ornaments. Anything I consider out of the ordinary I will mention under condition above. Colors can fade. Minor scratching to be expected. I will not sell a broken ornament. Exception regarding the pikes. The area under the cap. If it isn’t perfect I will note that and show pictures. The ornament will hang but the cap likely will not be on straight. If that is a concern please ask BEFORE you buy it and I ship it, so I can make sure. I won’t consider that “broken as it is common and does not effect how it looks on display. From where and who I have acquired them from over the years I have reason to believe they are all vintage. Vintage to me is older than 20 years. Many that I bought myself in stores are now considered vintage as it’s been over 20 to 25 years for many of them. Hard to think they are. I’m getting old. For De Carlini or Italian figural ornaments, Radko, Breen or other collectible and fragile glass Christmas ornaments I double box them for safety in shipping. I use a small sturdy box with acid free tissue to protect the ornament and then place it in a larger sturdy box for shipping and use bubble wrap/packing peanuts/other to protect it. It might cost a little more but it’s best to ensure it arrives safely. Distance from Illinois matters the most for shipping costs. If close you can drive over and save. Far Western suburb of Chicago. I use mainly USPS Ground Advantage. Then FedEx or UPS. You can choose how to pay but I reserve the right to choose whatever shipping service is more convenient for me at the time. All are interchangeable for speed and service. I can combine shipping. Please wait for an invoice if possible. Sometimes people buy more than one and pay for more than one shipping charge and I can refund the difference. If I forget simply ask and remind me as it gets busy in December. Sometimes it depends on what is shipped and the size. Sometimes two things are not cheaper if they are large and the box size gets too large when combined. Shipping companies don’t like large boxes even if light. I ask for one day handling. Sometimes things can go same day if ordered before the mailperson comes or I make a trip out to ship. After I ship it the time it takes to arrive is out of my control. Please consider I’m not the shipping company. Sold as is. What you see is what will ship. Sorry no returns. Shipping is too expensive both ways. When and if I do offer Best Offer but I don’t always respond to an offer. If so it’s because it was so low it wasn’t worthy of a response.
