Considering the age, this is in fine working condition! Here’s the story; I remember it being in the family in the 70’s, then it sat in another family members drawer for years as they’re more into ‘cool’ and fashionable watches, not vintage. Well, he just gave it to us to list for him and I couldn’t believe it was still working! I thought it would need a battery by now but it’s actually an automatic so as you can see in the video, it works!! Pull the crown out to advance the days, continually push the crown in until you get to the desired date. You can see in the picture the underneath says HAMILTON along with 10K gold filled and serial or model number 994770. I’d keep it myself but the Speidel band is too large for me and I really don’t wear yellow, fortunately for you. Maybe YOUR dad or grandpa had this same watch, well, here’s a beautiful reminder.
