This listing is for a single true USB KPG-46Z Programming cable compatible only with the new generation of Kenwood / EF Johnson Viking two-way mobile radios that use the KPG-46 RJ-45 connector with a different pinout. The new Kenwood KPG-46X is really 2 cables in 1 costing more than $100. The UART mode is backward compatible with all of the older radios and programming software and uses the Silicon Labs UART chipset. The USB mode converts the cable into a true USB cable which speeds up (4X) reading and writing to the latest generation of Kenwood radios. My part number for the cable in this is listing KPG-46z and it is equivalent to the KPG-46X OEM cable in USB mode.The EF Johnson Armada programming software that supports programming these radio models works on Windows 10 or older versions of Windows.
