This LONG SOLD OUT SIDESHOW SUMMER EXCLUSIVE ITEM is NEW, USB POWERED and sold AS IS. The light features have all been converted from battery operated to (reversible) USB power (See Pics 1-3) using my custom USB-power conversion system. Please note that Hot Toys distressed this figure front and back (See Pics 4 and 5). I point this out for new Hot Toys collectors who may not be aware of this distressing technique employed by Hot Toys for its Iron Man figures. The item comes complete and undamaged in its original art box and brown shipper. The figure was removed from the art box twice: when I first purchased him to inspect and then a second time to install my custom USB-power conversion system and to take the pictures for this listing. The item has never been displayed. The item has been stored in a smoke free, pet free, air-conditioned home away from UV light. I will ship the item so that the brown shipper remains in its current condition. WHAT’S IN THE BOX? The 1/6th scale Midas (Mark XXI) Collectible Figure’s special features: – Authentic likeness of Midas (Mark XXI), the high-altitude suit, in Iron Man 3 – Approximately 30 cm tall – Over 36 points of articulations – Special features on armor: – Multitude layers and shades of metallic gold-colored painting on armor – LED-lighted eyes and circle-shaped RT on chest (white light, battery or USB power operated) – One (1) removable chest armor – One (1) pair of interchangeable forearm rockets – Three (3) pairs of interchangeable palms including: – One (1) pair with improved articulations, movable fingers and light-up repulsors (white light, battery or USB power operated) – One (1) pair of forceful fists – One (1) pair of repulsor palms – Two (2) sets of interchangeable shoulder armors (normal & missile styles) – Improved articulations on waist armor which allow flexible movement – Fully deployed air flaps at back of the armor with built-in metal flaps – Articulated flaps at the back of armor on left and right legs Accessory: – One (1) circular figure stage with transparent pillar My custom USB-power conversion system features include:-My electric USB-power conversion system I specifically designed for use with Hot Toys figures to eliminate LED degradation and overheating when using USB power for several hours everyday*-My USB-power conversion system is NOT a USB hack! Unlike a USB hack, my USB-power conversion system and its installation does not damage or alter the figure in any way! -Wiring for all light features are gathered and then connected to a single USB plug-My USB-power conversion system is customized for this figure -Wiring is external, but discrete and color-matched to, or color-coordinated with, the figure for display aesthetics. Here, gold wax was applied to the wiring.-A dummy button cell system is used in each light feature-Wiring has no impact on posing options for the figure -Wiring length permits flight poses -Not having to spend any more time and money buying multiple types of expensive button cell batteries and then taking apart and putting the figure back together to replace the batteries and/or turn on/off the various light features just to see the light features work for only a couple of minutes each time -Except for the fists which do not let light pass and, therefore, they are both turned off (on/off switch for each hand is on the inner bicep), my USB-power conversion system is pre-installed with all light features already turned on for easy set-up (just remove from art box, insert single USB plug into single USB receptacle and enjoy!) *The last five (5) photos are figures from my personal collection where I have installed my USB-power conversion system and have had their lights turned on for several hours everyday since January, 2023.
