The center top has an illustrated image of an allegorical woman and young man with symbols of industry (beehive, globes of the world, large building, laurel wreath, etc.). One certificate is numbered 65 in red Shares 4 (stamped) and dated Jan. 8, 1923, and the second certificate is numbered 48 in red Shares 4 (stamped), dated Dec. 6, 1923. Each certificate reads Incorporated under the laws of the state of Delaware, Capital Stock $1,000,000, Spic & Span Markets, Inc., This certifies that Nils L. Thoren is the owner of FOUR (one each certificate) shares of the Preferred Stock of Spic & Span, printed by The Broun-Green Co., 48 John St., N.Y., with raised seal Spic & span Markets, Inc. The opposite side has printed text and 3 panels with signature on only one certificate. Each certificate is in very good condition; measures 11-1/2″ BY 7-1/2″. When packed SECURELY for shipping, the weight is 8 ounces. Please pay close attention to photos for best description of condition, thank you.
