This is a 3 card lot of one of the all time great Los Angeles Dodgers and Hall of Fame Manager, Tommy Lasorda. All cards in this lot are different and they are all 33 years old or more! Lasorda won almost 1,600 games as manager of the Dodgers. Under his guidance, the Dodgers won two World Series Series (1981 and 1988), four National League pennants, and eight division titles! At the time of his retirement, his 16 wins in the NLCS were the most of any manager in MLB history. His 61 postseason games managed ranked fourth all-time behind Bobby Cox, Casey Stengel and Joe Torre. During his career, Lasorda managed an amazing nine players who won the NL Rookie of the Year Award. Lasorda was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997. This lot includes 1 card of each listed below: 1981 Fleer #116 (tough card to find)1983 Topps #306 (very popular, getting harder to find)1989 Topps #254 Because I have a few of these lots, the cards shown in the scans are examples of my card quality and not necessarily the cards you will receive. All the cards you will receive will be in Near Mint (NM) condition or better (many are NMMT)! As was the case in those days, some cards may be off center but none will be miscut, meaning none of the inner frame of the photo will touch the card edge. The 1981 and 1982 Fleer cards are also notorious for print issues (like ink smudges). If you have questions please contact me and review my feedback from other buyers. To help you understand how I’ve evaluated card condition, included is a sample condition guideline showing what grading scale is used by the 3 major card grading companies / authenticators. As a potential buyer, I’d like you to know a little about me, I’m a card collector and have been since the late 60’s, baseball cards are my primary collecting interest. During the mid-80’s I started attending card shows to buy, sell and trade. From the mid-90s until about 2013 my personal interest in the hobby was put on hold as raising a family and my career to support my family were the priority. Currently, I have raw and graded baseball cards available dating back to the late 50’s and raw football, basketball and hockey from the early to mid-70’s in varying condition. My ‘inventory’ also includes unopened wax, cello and racks. At the moment I just don’t have time to list all the cards I’m willing to sell, but if there is something you are looking for, let me know and I’ll see if I have the item available. To help reduce shipping costs, unless instructed otherwise, these cards will be shipped in a Plain White Envelope (PWE). If requested by the buyer, shipping in a small padded envelope will cost $4. Shipping fees listed are for delivery within the continental 48 states of the USA using USPS. International rates will vary and will charged extra, with the exact amount to be determined at the time of purchase. Shipments are typically mailed twice per week, on Saturdays and once during midweek. If you need an item with expedited shipping please notify me, while there is no guarantees that I’ll be able to expedite the item(s), I will do my best to accommodate your request. Combined shipping is available and is based on the following: a) The buyer will pay the first or highest shipping fee and add $1.00 for each additional single graded card or $0.25 for each additional raw, ungraded, card. b) If unless the value is more than $200, I will insure the package through USPS, in which case the shipping costs may be more.
