eBay “SAVANNA SIESTA” LION PRIDE, BY JOHN SEEREY-LESTER, 1988, HAND-SIGNED LIMITED EDITION #69/950, 37×18-5/8″ PHOTO LITHOGRAPH, WITH A 32×13-3/8″ IMAGE AREA, IN NEARLY PRISTINE MINT CONDITION (with only a bit of very light yellowish age spotting in the left border– all of which could be very easily matted out– keeping it from being in perfect condition), AND WITH ITS ORIGINAL MILL POND PRESS BIO CARD AND PRINT INFORMATION CARD (COA), AND IN ITS ORIGINAL IMPRINTED PRINT FOLDER WITH LIMITATION STICKER IN ITS LOWER RIGHT CORNER (see second and fifth photos). This hilarious painting showcases the entire pride of lions lounging in the most grotesque postures as they nap in the savanna. PART OF THE MILL POND PRESS SERIES OF LIMITED EDITION JOHN SEEREY-LESTER WILDLIFE PRINTS– MANY OTHERS OF WHICH WE ALSO CARRY, AS WELL AS THEIR OTHER WILDLIFE AND WESTERN LIMITED EDITION PRINTS. Purchased new from the publisher in 1988 at wholesale, along with several others, never framed or displayed, and stored in our darkened, temperature controlled warehouse since, the print is still in nearly PRISTINE MINT condition, with its original creamy, ivory colored paper, and with Bright, Lustrous, completely UN-faded colors. The print folder, on the other hand, was stored elsewhere, and suffered rather extensive yellowish age spotting– none of which affected the print, or the structural integrity of the folder. NOTE: OUR PRINTS, WHILE MAYBE PRICED A BIT HIGHER, HAVE NEVER BEEN FRAMED OR EXPOSED TO LIGHT, HAVING BEEN STORED IN OUR DARKENED WAREHOUSE THE ENTIRE TIME– OVER THREE (3) DECADES– SO, UNLIKE PRINTS OFFERED BY OTHERS, OURS ARE PRISTINE NEW, NEVER FRAMED OR DISPLAYED, IN NEARLY PERFECT MINT CONDITION AND TOTALLY UN-FADED !
