Color Note- This combat military jacket list its color as khaki. I’ve been in this clothing business a long time and khaki is also referred to by many as tan, beige or brown. So whatever color you want to call it, this khaki jacket is somewhere between tan & brown. Also, the stock split photo of this jacket used in the first picture is professionally made so it’s always going to be a bit brighter than the actual color when seen in hand. The actual khaki color is more subdued and closer to my actual full front photo(pic 2). I occasionally include stock photos because it can visually look so much better when a professional photographer takes the photos using a actual male model. Modeled photos gives the customer a better idea of what it looks like when worn while my own photos highlight the unique attributes of the jacket. Please keep these color shade differences in mind before making any purchase decision. Thanks. Sizing Note- Jacket runs about a 1/2 size bigger in the across chest measurement(armpit to armpit) versus a typical same sized jacket. For example, the extra large in this listing has a across chest measurement of 25.5″ compared to most XL jackets with a 25″ across chest measurement. That being said, you have to measure your own comfortable jacket at home and compare it with the measurement I just mentioned. The reason is your jacket at home may have a different “typical” across chest measurement than the one I just mentioned. Once you know your own jacket measurements, figuring out if this jacket will run small, run big or fit fine is pretty straightforward since you have your jacket measurements to compare with the Polo Ralph Lauren jacket measurements in this listing. All you need is a cheap wooden yard stick or tape measure. Super easy & fast. I sell a lot of items in the $100 to $300+ range with a no return policy and still have outstanding feedback. Why? Hideaway Rain Hood Note- The rain hood is thin and it feels like it’s made of a nylon type of material. It’s definitely a water resistant rain hood and not a thick cold weather cotton hood. Being thin keeps the back collar from looking too bulky when it’s enclosed in its zipper pouch. I would like to add it’s super easy to take out as well as put back in the rain hood. To take out the hood all you have to do is unzip the back collar pouch and you’re good to go in a matter of seconds. To put back the hood all you have to do is roll it up lengthwise like you would do a beach mat and then gently tuck it in and zip it up. You do not want to crumple the hood in a big ball and try to shove it in because the collar pouch is not deep rather it is long. Rolling up the hood nicely lengthwise is the only way it will go in. Trust me, I tried both ways. Haha! Wrinkles Note- Because of the high value of these M-65 military jackets, they are stored in bins to prevent possible damage or dust from accumulating on them. Since they are folded and stacked onto each other they obviously have developed soft wrinkles. That being said, you will have to steam or iron the jacket once it arrives at your doorstep. Being a low volume seller means I normally have only 1 or at most a handful of a particular item which makes selling an item(s) now with a no return policy very manageable since eBay easily has over a 100 million customers worldwide.Extra Things I Do To Offset A No Return PolicyI know a no return policy does affect my sales which is why I ALWAYS go above and beyond when describing and photographing my eBay items so there are absolutely no “surprises” when you receive an item from me. Some of the extra things I do are listed below:I ship out items no later then the next business day. Sometimes I ship Saturdays if I have free time.If asked and I have the time, I will ship out the item the same day if a customer needs the item ASAP say for a birthday gift, athletic event such as a football/soccer game or an upcoming trip. Not a problem if they message me early enough and I have no prior commitments for that day or even Saturday.I list overall measurements for pretty much all my clothing items. Listing measurements for a clothing item may seem trivial to you, but it literally doubles the time it takes me to list an item on eBay. Ask any eBay clothing seller, the extra time it takes to take out a yard stick/tape measure then write or input these measurements for a huge pile of eBay clothing items is time consuming & gets a little irritating to say the least. Haha! Trust me I’d love to just write in the description, “Brand new with tags. Size Large. Comes from a smoke free home. Ships fast!” LOL! I try to describe to the best of my ability if an item runs small or big and point out flaws no matter how tiny they are. Things that I point out regularly that most sellers don’t are store fastener tag/anti-theft tag pinholes, wrinkles/creases in jersey graphics, pepper sized scuffs on shoes and as stated previously if an item runs small or big.I respond to all buyers questions before and after the sale in a timely matter as long as our time zones mesh. Like the majority of clothing online buyers around the world, many of my customers had absolutely no clue what their technical overall clothing measurements were because of free online returns. They really only knew the basics like “I wear a medium shirt and a 33″ waist pants.” I would say after measuring thousands of clothing items, a medium in one brand can be sized much smaller or bigger than a medium in another brand because of the design cut or the material itself. This is why any customer of mine who were reluctantly forced to finally figure out their technical clothing measurements because of my no buyer’s remorse refunds brings a smile to my face. I 100% know they will definitely save money and time in their future online clothing purchases because a lot of online businesses charge a 10 to 25 percent return restocking fee for sizing issues and let’s face it; it’s a hassle and a big waste of time to return something online.
