A proprietary Focused Image Geometry concept, being known by its original solutions of the American NHT, is implemented in this two-way speaker system. Room reflections destroy the structure the spatial information, laid in a recording. It is impossible to totally avoid reflections. But to reduce to some minimum is possible and, probably, is worth-while. The rotation at 21° of the front panels of the speaker systems and asymmetric position of the tweeter provide high measure of focusing of sound energy at the listening point. Closed design is also the corporate style of the company. Four variants of body’s finish are available. A luxurious polishing is an excellent argument for the organizer of a rich and cozy interior.Few speaker systems could “fit” into the sizes of the listening room the stage’s image so accurately and realistically like NHT 1.5 did. The system works very skillfully with low frequencies, which provide a monolithic unity of the image as the foundation. The upper bass is detailed and sensitive to kick. It is very clean at the top of range, so all high-frequency details spread before the eyes and their slightly against the overall background contrast does not bother at all. High volume doesn’t spoil anything. Good dynamics of the middle provides the naturalness of sound, makes it full of life juice.
