Medalla Conmemorativa al Mundial de Futbol Mexico 1970 Copa Jules Rimet FIFA This is a large and gorgeous high relief silver medallion commemorating the 1970 FIFA World Cup in Mexico. This series featured the great Pelé who had a central role in Brazil’s way to the final, playing a part in 14 of Brazil’s 19 goals in the tournament. This medallion is one of two versions. The first was issued before the game and made of 0.95 silver. This is the second and scarcer version, celebrating the win of Brazil, at the time three time world champions. This version had a silver content of 0.975.
