This is the original, with a proven record noted in various KLX forums and threads. Not a copy that may or may not work properly. This tensioner design was developed with the help of a KLX250 rider at the request of KLX250 riders and I now also ride a KLX250, as does my brother. A several thousand of them have been sold since first developed in 2009. It is a bolt in replacement, guaranteed to fit and work to adjust the cam drive. And a major plus that I am available by phone or other methods should you need help or have questions. When I started making tensioners the first ones were for my own Kawasakis the way I wanted them to be. The alloy body is 6061T aluminum with zinc coated hardware for corrosion resistance. The new fasteners are countersunk allen heads to make a clean installation that allows unimpeded access to the lock nut. There is a high temperature tolerant Viton O-ring seal under the lock nut to seal up around the adjuster bolt threads. The kit also includes two gaskets, so you have a spare, instructions, and a couple of decent quality stickers for the bike, the tool box, or whatever. The external adjuster bolt set up uses an acorn nut and jam nut for a clean look and to allow the bolt to be shortened or the oil seal O-ring to be replaced. All you need are the tools, the gasket goop (I used Hondabond), and the ability to follow the simple instructions included with the tensioner.
