The Television SHOW: Hann-Barbera’s “JONNY QUEST” This particular “JONNY QUEST” collectible ART includes the Original Screen-Used ANIMATION CELS in a great scene with JONNY, RACE & HADJI… These ANIMATION HAND-PAINTED CELS with scene numbers & notches on the acetate are mounted under glass… This original animation hand-painted cel was autographed by the great animators/producers, WILLIAM HANNA & JOSEPH BARBERA in black marker… The official Gold world renowned HANNA-BARBERA Studio Seal is embossed in the lower right corner of the cel…it has printed “ORIGINAL HAND PAINTED PRODUCTION CEL” number 5098 This Collection also includes this Autographed 8×10 Photo signed by TIM MATHESON, the voice of Jonny! (COA from world renowned Piece of the Past) It also comes with the written COA from …this art was acquired from a “private event” held by Warner Bros. Gallery in 1999. The art is matted under double glass in a black Frame that measures approximately 21″ Wide x 17″ High…the black wood frame is in overall good condition. There is also this brass engraved PLAQUE attached to the glass under the art… This great original ART is just ready to hang in your museum, office or home. We also include the complete factory sealed DVD set of all 26 episodes with these extras… The colors on this original art cels are bright and highly detailed with no flaking & has the “Jonny Quest” LOGO attached to the glass… This original hand-painted animated cels of this scene from the television show includes the background piece that was provided by the studio… This key Cel art is hand-painted on acetates, with some light tape, black marker writing & notches at the bottom to help position & log where this scene is used in the program… ORIGINAL ANIMATION CELs are becoming very valuable and treasured since artists actually hand painted each individual cel…today they produce the art on a computer. (no paint, no cels) “JONNY QUEST” Jonny Quest is a science fiction-adventure media franchise that revolves around the titular boy named Jonny Quest, who accompanies his scientist father on extraordinary adventures. The franchise started with a 1964–1965 television series of the same name, and has come to include two subsequent television series, two television films, and three computer games. WILLIAM HANNA 1910-2001 JOSEPH BARBERA 1911-2006 HANNA-BARBERA Animation Studios Hanna-Barbera was an American animation studio and production company that was active from 1957 until it was absorbed into Warner Bros. Animation in 2001. It was founded on July 7, 1957, by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera following the decision of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) to close its in-house cartoon studio, and was formerly headquartered on Cahuenga Boulevard from 1960 until 1998 and at the Sherman Oaks Galleria in Sherman Oaks, both in Los Angeles, California. The studio produced many successful television shows, including JONNY QUEST, The Huckleberry Hound Show, The Flintstones, The Yogi Bear Show, Top Cat, The Jetsons, Wacky Races, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! and The Smurfs.
