These will only fit the JBL L88+ (Plus) model that has the “removable” walnut trimmed wood grille frames that are similar in appearance to the L100 wood frames..Although the L88+ grille frame has different dimensions and is deeper than the L100..These have been designed to fit into the L88+ removable Grille frame perfectly..Please message me with photos of your wood grilles frames before purchase so to confirm 100% that you actually have L88+ frames.. The L88+ Plus models were produced in two different cabinet versions..One cabinet style did not have a removable front walnut trimmed grille frame, but instead had a set back/recessed baffle built right into the cabinet..a removable thin backer board fit into the recessed area of the cabinet and the foam was glue to that backer board..If you have the backer board to mount to then these grille inserts will fit and can be used on that cabinet style also *These Will Not Fit L100 models* Made from high acoustically transparent open cell reticulated speaker foam.. These are patterned after the vintage JBL L-100 Quadrex style grilles, but are designed to fit perfectly into the L88+ wood frames.. They are full thickness just like the L100 inserts..,..These are the finishing crown jewel to top off the perfect vintage speaker restoration! One pair (You will receive two foam inserts)…These are brand new replacement sculptured foam grille inserts that directly fit into vintage JBL-L88+ (Plus) speakers walnut wood frames. One cube in the bottom left corner of each insert has been lowered slightly for a location to mount your JBL badges..Aluminum badges are included that you can attach to the grilles if needed.. The foam has been professionally painted with top of the line materials the OEM Burnt Orange color The back sides of the grilles are not painted and is the raw foam color, which is a dark charcoal gray.. *NOTE..Other colors are available..JBL Russet Brown, Ultra Blue, Raven Black, and Retro Green is available..Message me to let me know what color you would like, and leave a not at checkout of your color choice.. The foam grilles inserts will need to be glued into your frames and the black cloth mesh that was stapled into the wood frames by JBL is required to support the foam inserts.. *(No wood frames included in this sale)*… *If you need new mesh i have a listing in my items for sale for some very nice, very close to original looking black mesh available..Just click on my profile then my items for sale and you should easily be able to find it..If you order a pair of my grille inserts and the black mesh at the same time just let me know and i will refund you the shipping on the mesh and just include it in the box with the inserts..
