eBay Eddie Bauer First Ascent Men’s Large Goose Down Emperor Parka Extremely Warm and Heavy Duty made with Cordura Nylon exterior and heavy nylon interior so the down does not leak or poke through. New without tags. I purchased this parka for an Arctic expedition and never used it. The expedition was with National Geographic and this parka was recommended to be better than any North Face, Arcteryx or Canada Goose parkas. It is HEAVY DUTY, EXTREMELY WARM AND HEAVY ! IF YOU NEED TO STAY WARM THIS PARKA WILL KEEP YOU WARM !! Many many pockets inside and out. Chest pockets open with top or side zipper. One zippered pocket on one sleeve and ‘pen’ slots on the other sleeve. Wool internal rib cuffs at the end of each sleeve. ‘Flexible’ elbow and shoulder for ease of movement and less restriction. 700 down filled rating overall including the hood and sleeves !! This parka was made when Eddie Bauer used the best Canada goose down and there is plenty of it in this parka. The hood is adjustable from inside the jacket and the bottom of the parka has an inside cinch cord for adjustment. Codura nylon is NOT ripstop nylon. It is extremely heavy duty and will not tear or rip easily and no down feathers will ‘bleed’ thru the parka. Show no wear or marks. Just hung in my closet for years. If you need a heavy, warm ‘bullet proof’ parka this is it. SOLD AS IS. NO RETURNS. LOOK AT PHOTOS. PARKA IS IN NEW CONDITION.
