Condition – Grade C Pulled from a college environment The bad: Bright spot on screen! Power button is depressed on one side. Intellipoint buttons don’t work well, requires hard push Missing a screen bumper, top left side Laptop runs slow! Has engraving on bottom, asset sticker on lid. The Good: Turns on Battery holds a charge, its taking at least 30 minutes to install updates during shutdown process. FUN! Hard drive not noisy, nor any problems with install & minimal OS testing. Arctic Silver 5 Thermal paste installed Hinges hold ok, little play but doesn’t fall over Ports look good! Windows 7 Pro on this machine for testing, the COA on bottom didn’t work, so its overridden in this install. Laptop is really slow, it accepts Windows updates (I did not install all of them, just a few~), but didn’t work on Dell’s automatic driver detection, the page hangs halfway, maybe due to IE being depreciated. Didn’t install the specific drivers for this machine. Connects to internet via Ethernet, has WiFi but is untested, same with webcam. Keyboard has some shine from use. CMOS battery requires replacement. Sold for parts, the exact laptop will be shipped in photos! No charger! Sticker and engraving from previous environment will be intact!
