This item is for a complete 1/72 model resin detail set, see below for a description.Manufacturer: CMK Title: IAF Mirage IIICJ Pilot & Ground Crew for Special Hobby kit and other kits Ref: F72387 Scale: 1/72 Description: This resin detail set contains two Israel Defence Force Air Force (IDF/AF) figures, a pilot and a female ground crew, designed to be used with the 1/72 Special Hobby Dassault Mirage IIICJ kit but should work just as well with similar kits. The pilot is wearing a flying suit, boots and life vest, and is holding his helmet with mask and oxygen hose spilling over the edge, with both hands by his side, looking up and to one side. The female ground crew operative is dressed smartly in a knee-length skirt and jacket, plus a cloth forage cap, and her hair pulled back into a short ponytail at the rear. .. For those not familiar with resin aftermarket parts, they are almost invariably packaged and sold with the parts attached to their casting block – see image (in layman’s terms, a large sprue gate) which will need to be carefully removed. Resin aftermarket parts normally offer far better detail and are more often than not a more accurate representation of the kit part they are to replace. This set is a great introduction to resin parts and kit conversions as the set is a straight swap for the original kit item, albeit some careful surgery will be required to remove the kit items before inserting the resin version.
