Chevrolet Charm BraceletYou are buying one vintage Chevrolet Charm Bracelet Description & ConditionThis sale is for a vintage Chevrolet charm bracelet from the 1960’sIncluded in this sale are the following items: Bracelet One charm which is the GM building in Detroit with a Chevy logo on the bottom on the back of the charm are the words ‘Claims Adjuster 2-1-69’ The original box for the bracelet – blue felt inside and out except the inside of the lid with the Balfour logo and ‘Jewelry’s Finest Craftsmen’ is printed blue letters on a white background The original white paperboard box for the blue felt box A notecard with ‘Career In Medals’ on the front A message from LNMays on the inside According to an article in the New York Times, LN Mays was Lewell N Mays Mr. Mays retired in December 1972 from GM as Vice President and General Manager of Buick I will go out on a limb and guess in 1969, the date of the bracelet, that Mr. Mays was Vice President and General Manager of Chevrolet The bracelet was intended for the wives of ‘Chevrolet Men’ per the card I am calling the bracelet used but it appears to be in like-new (slightly tarnished) condition The measurements are approximately:Eight (8) inches long from end to end, would fit a slightly smaller wristThe bracelet and charm weigh approximately 1.4 ounces The bracelet is as pictured — see the pictures for more details — use the zoom feature for closer inspection The bracelet, felt box and LNMays card have no damage that I could find — no chips, scratches, nicks or other damage There may be some fading or other age related changes but overall this looks fantastic for it’s ageThe damage on the top of the white Balfour box is peeled away shiny paper on the top of the box Kinda like if you put tape on a box that has a shiny finish, pulled the tape off and a bit of the shiny paper came off The price I am asking reflects the fact that I have the original boxes and card from LN Mays Those items are the as-received items that the employee and spouse would have received when the bracelet was presented to the employee The squares in grid in some photos are 1inch x 1inchThis is not a stock photo, the item pictured is what you will receive Shipping I normally ship the same day or next day after I receive a cleared paymentIf you want me to use a specific option, please contact me before bidding — there may be an additional chargePlease remember that the shipping fee includes the price to ship and packing materialsAll international sales must go thru the Ebay Global Shipping Center – I will not ship to a freight forwarderThis protects both me and the buyer by showing delivery in the buyer’s countryPurchases with a shipping address of a freight forwarding company will be cancelledLocal pick up is not an optionPaymentPayment is expected within three daysQuestions…are always welcomed — please ask them before you bid to make sure this is an item that will meet your expectations.I do my best to accurately represent the items I sell by measuring or describingIf you need any additional pictures or more information, please contact me before bidding and include your email address
