The blank for this pen is made from a Moon Glow Opal FX blank. This pen shimmers with a reflective fire that seems to emanate from within. Impossible to photo the Opal FX pens will draw your eye to it like no other material out there. This pen was made using a Fire Opal FX blank and has a vibrant blue, with large flashes of gold, orange, and pinks. This is a spectacular looking pen in person. The last photo is a close-up of the pen that shows the detail of the colors that run throughout this pen.This pen is also a wonderful mid-sized pen and due to its unique design, it is exceptionally light and comfortable to hold. The bottom, or writing end, of the pen is about ½” in diameter at the thickest, yet only about ¼” in diameter where your fingers grip the pen to write. The overall length of all of the pen is roughly 5 ¼”.
