The rear lock cylinder in this set is for vans with two barn style rear cargo doors. It is also the standard lock cylinder…NOT the lock cylinder with electric option (which has much longer tail shaft that a switch connects to). The electric option that is spoken of, is NOT simply having power locks…..it is where you can turn the key in the lock cylinder of the rear door and it will unlock all the doors. It seems that not many vans need the optional rear lock cylinder…will be up to you the customer to know….send message if you need help figuring it out. This rear cylinder is NOT for vans which have a push style lock located in the center of the liftgate….ones with a three piece rear door system. Merchandise Description This ebay listing is for one Strattec brand GM OEM ignition lock cylinder, two front door lock cylinders, one side door lock cylinder, and one rear lock cylinder with 2 working GM logo keys. All five lock cylinders are keyed alike and work with the same key. This ignition lock cylinder is for vehicles with AUTOMATIC transmission. Vehicles with manual transmission will take a different cylinder, which has a push-button on the face of it. We have the manual trans lock and it is the same price….send reminder message right after buying if you need the manual trans lock.The front/side door cylinders come with gaskets….all four cylinders come with the small pawl/lever retaining clip.The lock cylinders do NOT come with the pawl/cam that goes on the back…you swap from old cylinder to new cylinder….just a small clip to remove.Does NOT come with any additional or attachments…other than what is pictured.Locks can be provided with chrome face for same price…must send ebay message immediately after buying.This lock is made by Strattec….Strattec is an OEM. GM buys this part from Strattec and packages it under the GM name.
