Here for your consideration is this good condition original used 1962 Dodge Polara 500 2-door hardtop left (driver’s) side door handle molding. Goes underneath and behind the left door handle. Cast on the back side with Chrysler part # of: 2252239 (see close up picture of). It measures approx. 10-1/8″ long overall. Similar to that of the 4 door model, but believe this one has a longer rear “tail” section than that 4-door one, that is just slightly shorter (about 3/4″) than this one. Please look pictures and measurements over carefully therefore, to be sure this is the correct one for your model car, before bidding on it. Featured molding has been stored away inside on the shelf for many years. It is not broken off, badly bent, or cracked up. Much of the molding has a decent shine still to the chrome plating, but there are a few spots that have some decent pitting on them (mainly by the front part of door handle attachment area (see pictures). Not for a top condition car therefore, unless you could recondition this somehow for them, but still very good if yours is missing or broken up. Getting to be a hard molding to find, and not available in any reproduction format that I am aware of. My only one, so be sure to put in that good bid today!
